Information you give us

RuralQuote collects the information you submit in a quote request, contractor registration or contact message. This may include your name, email, telephone number, property postcode and project or business details.

How your information is used

We use this information to review your enquiry, respond to you and, for quote requests, identify relevant independent contractors. When you agree on the quote form, your enquiry may be shared with up to three relevant contractors so they can discuss your project with you. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a match.

Your choices

The forms ask for your agreement before you submit. You can ask us to stop making introductions, withdraw your consent or request access, correction or deletion of the information you gave us by using our contact form. Include your enquiry reference when you have one. A contractor who has already received your details is responsible for its own use of that information.

Storage and access

Enquiries are stored in the site’s database and accessed for handling your request. We use Cloudflare to host the website and store enquiries. We review information while handling enquiries and remove information that is no longer needed, subject to any applicable record-keeping requirements.

Website security and cookies

We use basic anti-spam checks and a temporary, daily changing representation of the requesting network address to limit repeated submissions. This version does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. The hosting platform may use essential cookies for access and security.
